Gonçalo Fonseca és un fotògraf documental afincat a Lisboa.

Després d’estudiar Periodisme a Portugal i Fotoperiodisme a Barcelona, va començar la seva pràctica fotogràfica l’any 2016. Des de llavors ha treballat a Marroc, Portugal i Xina, sempre enfocat  en les temàtiques de Drets Humans. El mouen les ganes de donar veu als que no la tenen, i de testimoniar les injustícies d’aquest món i amplificar la veu dels qui fotografia.

La seva feina fotogràfica ha estat publicada a TIME, Washington Post, Der Spiegel, Aftonbladet, El Pais, Diari Ara, 7K , entre altres.
