Born in 1985 // lives and works between Paris, Buenos Aires and Latin-America // Documental photographer in HANS LUCAS y miembro de ARGRA // Architect D.E. // Master Socials sciences research ( EHESS)

From my years as a dancer, I keep a love for bodies, its expressions and movements. As an architect, a special interest in spaces and territories, whether they are intimate or shared. From my anthropological experiences, a passion for subjects often invisible to the naked eye and long period of work.

I photograph what I live rather than what I see, in total immersion in the heart of territory or stories that interrogate me. Talk about actuality but on a longer time or to bring other lights. The images, but also the words, the drawings and the sounds, become the reflection of shared experiences. My themes of predilection are the habitat and its territories, the memory, the popular resistances, the migrations and the identity, among others. My photographic practice goes beyond the mere creation of images. I was part of the Argentine collectives Ojo de Pez and Compromiso Fotografico by giving workshops of photojournalism in the underprivileged neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. I also like to reflect and experiment with the modes of post-production and diffusion of the image, from “photobook” to installation in the public space. I published in 2015 my first photobook “Ritos al ras del futuro”, on the social movements stemming from the Argentinian crisis of 2001. Transdisciplinarity is the driving force behind all my projects, and since 2010 I have been part of the collective of architects “Sans plus attendre”.

In 2017, I’ve been nominated for the 6×6 Global Talent Program of the World Press Photo , selected by the New York Times for his 5th Portfolio Review, for the week ” Descubrimientos” of Photo España 2017, and I’ve been finalist at the EFTI Fellowship Roberto Villagraz. I received a fellowship ADELANTE from the International Women’s Media foundation to report in El Salvador and Guatemala and the scholarship from the Foundation Pedro Meyer and Worldpress Photo to follow the program ” Fotonarrativa y Nuevos Medios” in Mexico. I was selected in 2016 for the Masterclass of the Prix Bayeux-Calvados of War Reporters and for the collective creative residence “20 fotografos Mexico” organized by the Foto Museo Cuatro Caminos de la Fundacion Pedro Meyer and Colectivo + 1.

As a self-taught photographer in my beginnings, I finally graduated in photojournalism from ARGRA Escuela in Buenos Aires (Association of Graphic Reporters of Argentina) and Specialization in documentary photography from the University of Buenos Aires,.

Two-time finalist of the Grand Prize of student photoreportage of Paris Match (2009/2012) and “coup de coeur” of the Bourse du talent Portrait 2016, I exhibited in several institutions and events: Cultural Center of Spain in Argentina, Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine in Paris, FOTOGRAMA: 2013 in Montevideo, Casa Argentina in Paris, Maison du peuple of Saint-Gilles in Brussels, Escale Photographique of the Grange aux Belles center, Photographic Gallery of the University of Buenos Aires among others. I am currently part of Studio Hans Lucas and ARGRA professional association and collaborate with various medias in Latin America and France.
