Ismaël Guye Sancho
Born of a Spanish mother and Swiss father, Ismael moved to Spain with his family at the age of five. Since completing his studies in architecture and fine art in 2015, he has combined personal projects―both documentary and artistic photography and the coverage of performances―with his freelance work for the newspaper La Directa. In recent years, courses at CFD Barcelona and the Academia Acai Sabadell have nourished his interest in photojournalism and socially engaged photography.
He has participated in numerous collective exhibitions, including Sense Títol (Facultad de Bellas Artes, Barcelona, 2015), Els fotògrafs de demà (Lloret de Mar, 2014 and Parets del Vallés, 2015), Diez y siete (Facultad de Bellas Artes, Barcelona, 2015), Pim-Pam (Galería Lafutura, Barcelona, 2014), and 4 Semanas (Sala Albarrán, Barcelona, 2014).
